The two buildings of the school are situated at the prime location of Kharagpur town. The ambience is indeed ideal and conducive for teaching and learning. After merging  the school is having two wings. The junior wing ( Class-I to X ) and senior wing ( Class XI and XII ).

South Eastern Railway has merged the schools in accordance with Prime Minister’s Vision and Mission in providing high-quality education in an equitable, inclusive and joyful environment that takes care of the diverse background, multilingual needs, and different academic needs, and different academic abilities of children and make them active participant in the learning process.

With learned faculty members, digital facilities, well equipped laboratories, library, games and sports, water plant and  lush green campus , the school aspires to be a model school among the Railway schools of Indian Railway under the able guidance of the mentors of the school – Dr. Mahua Verma, Principal Chief personnel Officer/ S.E.Railway Garden Reach, Sri K.R.
